Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (Hydro)

My client is seeking a commissioning engineer for they're pump storage project in Switzerland. This is a great opportunity to work for one of the largest manufacturing companies within the Hydropower field. As the market leader you will have the opportunity to potentially work on they're projects world wide.

Tasks:

• Preparation/review of commissioning documents
• Coordination of handover from installation team
• Dry- and wet commissioning of turbine, MIV, governor and auxiliaries (bearing oil supply, shaft seal supply etc.) including function check with client and troubleshooting
• Commissioning of BoPm systems such as cooling water, drainage dewatering and air supply including function check with client and troubleshooting
• Commissioning report

Job details:

• Site Location: Switzerland
• Duration: minimum 6 months
• Salary: £400-500 per day

Job requirements:

• Hydro turbine experience
• Hands on commissioning experience on contractor side (please do not send candidates who have only been "project managers" or "commissioning managers" on client or consultant side or design engineers)
