Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Telecoms Utilities

Location: Essex

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a history of successfully delivering prompt financial completion of projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to join a Commercial team on a large ultra-fast fibre contract? Then a role within a Market leading Utilities Contractor could be for you.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable track record in managing regional contracts. A detailed knowledge of the NEC Suite of contracts is essential along with a thorough grounding in Civils / Utilities projects. Previous Fibre experience would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be an integral part the commercial team with responsibility for the region's commercial activities, including applications, cost management, forecasting and WIP management.

Your duties will include:

• Line management of team.
• Ensure cash flow is maximised.
• Preparation of monthly cost value reports.
• Implementation and compliance with the contract change control procedure.
• Managing sub-contractors.

Ideal Qualifications include:

• Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience
• Thorough working knowledge of NEC Option C.
