Role: Highways Design Engineer

Location: North West

Are you an experienced Engineer who has produced designs for multi million pound schemes within the Highways Sector? Are you looking for an opportunity to join a leading Design team working with Local Government of a wide range of Highways Schemes? Then a key role within the Design Team of a Market leading Civil Engineering Contractor could be for you.

My client is looking to recruit an incorporated Engineer with experience of a wide range of Design and Build Highways schemes including the Sustainable Transport Agenda.

Your duties will include:

• Analyse engineering problems and apply technical expertise to produce innovative solutions.
• Identify, prepare, design, plan, programme and order works and services.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes.
• Provide Technical support.
• Prepare reports for Projects
• Identify Schemes for future programmes.
• Ensure Scheme design complies with the Specification.

Ideal Experience include:

• Registered IEng or EngTech.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering.
• Good knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance and standards.
• Knowledge and experience of budgetary governance, management and control measures.
