Advanced Procurement Manager - Pumps - Rest of Asia

Location: Singapore

Salary/ package: Negotiable

Our client is a world leading OEM and service provider of rotating equipment. They are now searching for an Advanced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for managing the advanced procurement side of the tendering process.

Experience/ knowledge required:

• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• 5+ years' experience with pumps.
• Experience with buy outs and 'advanced' procurement.
• Good understanding of technical specifications and factored goods.
• Qualified to degree level within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Head Procurement APAC.
• Responsible for providing factor goods, competitive quotations from the vendors according to the request of sales and tendering departments.
• Build relationships with Factored Goods suppliers.
• Coordinate in conjunction with sales through the tendering and order entry process.
• Investigate the factored goods vendor market.
• Support tendering and sales for cost reductions and support buyer quality improvement.
