Role Summary/Purpose
The Network Security Architect will provide direction & execution of network security initiatives for corporate and OT environments. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and possess broad technical skills with the ability to implement security changes across the organization.

In the role of the Network Security Architect, you will:
- Assist in the definition of the strategy and technology roadmap for Network Security Architecture, assess, and deliver technical solutions, base-line standards
- Provide technical and full end to end project management aligned to roadmap
- Lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in Network Security
- Act as liaison between the business, in-house vendors and Corporate for Network Security initiatives
- Partner with multiple teams to architect technology solutions that deliver cyber security controls for corporate and OT environments
- Deploy cyber security controls for protecting critical IT & OT assets
- Execute and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations
- Enterprise network security process standards
- Work with customers and operations teams to define repeatable reference network security architectures
- Determine network security requirements and prepare cost estimates by evaluating business strategies and requirements
- Assist in conducting system security and risk assessments as the security infrastructure SME, identifying security gaps and implementing enhancements to mitigate risk
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of network security systems by working closely with cross-functional teams
- Preparing preventive and reactive measures, providing technical support and completing documentation
- Provide knowledge of tools and technologies used for enterprise security
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university OR (High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or Institution with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience)
- Minimum 7 years of information technology experience
- Minimum 4 years of information security experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% as required
- Familiarity with IBM soft layer and
- SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Workday, and Office 365, SAP
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and related protocols such as SAML, SPML, XACML, SCIM, OpenID and OAuth
- Networking and firewalls, including TCP/IP protocols and network topology
- Operating systems, including Windows and Linux
- Security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Linux and network equipment
- Components that comprise a successful information security program
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, ICS-CIRT guidelines, SCADA control systems, SCADA firewalls' configuration
- Experience with secure network architectures, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, database and web applications
- Experience with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection / prevention technologies, secure coding practices and threat modeling
- Broad background in the following areas: computer / OS security, network security, hardware security, firmware security, and embedded platform security
- CISCO and/or Palo Alto Network certification
- Familiar with Palo Alto and/or CISCO Network infrastructure device (routers, switches, firewall)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
- Proven ability to persuade and influence outcomes
- Proven ability to work well with multiple vendors and corporate teams
