Mission:
Plan, develop, coordinate and control the activities within the Information Systems (IS) and Company Communications, namely in terms of security, integration, coherence and reliability, as well as the organization of information flows, according to the defined strategic plan, in order to ensure the appropriate IS for the management, control and evolution of the business and the optimization of costs for the Group.
Responsibilities:
• Autonomously manage all IS components of the Company and it´s decision-making processes, being responsible for the technical execution of the work and the management of a budget;
• Develop and maintain a roadmap of the evolution of the IS ecosystem and communications network, aligned with the Corporate IS Directorate, the business and a vision that reflects the organization's strategy and objectives, ensuring performance monitoring and compatibility. with current and future systems and networks;
• Continuously evaluate systems, business requirements, capabilities, discrepancies, opportunities and vulnerabilities, with a view to ways to improve efficiency, capture synergies and reduce costs;
• Develop and maintain guidelines and recommendations for the entire IS component, based on relevant benchmarks and benchmarks, to align the organization's IS practices with industry innovations;
• Design, build and document functional specifications for IS solutions based on business processes and requirements and workflow / process needs;
• Define security architectures, policies and standards in alignment with Galp Group's own international IS guidelines;
• Represent Galp East Africa's IS area in internal or external meetings, developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships and cooperation with various stakeholders;
• Assist subcontractors in reviewing and evaluating service operation functions, including incident, incident, problem and access management, service desk, technical management and operations management;
• Plan, prepare and / or participate in implementation testing sessions, defining the approach strategy, critical functionalities and their project quality assurances;
• Encourage the increasing and optimized use of IS, based on a continuous process of training users, proposing actions and providing support to enable them to extract maximum value from installed capacity and to ensure the transfer and retention of know-how. and information;
• Deliver all IS projects on time and within budget.
• Define and monitor service levels associated with IS contracts
Profile:
• Education: Degree / Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and / or similar areas of Information Systems
• Experience: 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in IS related activities (preferred: experience in downstream Oil sector in terms of operation, legislation and regulation)
• Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Portuguese.
• Good computer skills, user-friendly applications (Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Primavera - preferred) and project documentation tools (Microsoft Visio and Project or equivalent);
• Good knowledge of “As a Service” and “Cloud oriented” solutions;
• Ability to propose and implement IS infrastructure management processes, from communications level to application level;
• Ability to negotiate and define IT contracts
• Availability for frequent travel (at least within Mozambique)
• Orientation to detail and critical sense;
• Ability to work in team and interpersonal relationship;
• Good communication skills and assertiveness;
• Excellent analysis, organization and planning skills;
• Results orientation and systematization capacity.
