Expeditor / Western Australia

Our client have an Expeditor position available for an immediate start in Perth, Western Australia.

A leading global provider of professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors, this is a contract position joining an Oil & Gas project team.

As an Expeditor you

• Will provide continuous insight into the suppliers and major vendors progress towards meeting purchase order requirements, particularly deliverable delivery dates.
• Will gather available data to explain requirements against which suppliers progress can be measured.
• Monitor and report that progress to project management
• Develop alternative and timely schemes to keep progress on schedule for project requirements.

Desired Experience

• Previous experience performing the assigned tasks in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Working experience in a fabrication, manufacturing or distribution facility is highly desired
• Education and training beyond high school is preferred
• Proficient in the use of computers and commonly used business software, with experience with database management tools required.
• Familiarity with industry specific scheduling tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
