Role
Reporting to Operations Director you will have proven experience as a successful Project Manager with experience involving managing defects remedials in a live hospital environment. You should be confident at dealing with people and possess the skills to communicate confidently and effectively with end user clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Operation Management
• Chair progress and co-ordination meetings with contractors and professional team
• Professionally manage all contractors in a commercially accepted manner.
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent technical construction knowledge with a good knowledge of mechanical and electrical
• The ability to conclude defects as swiftly as possible
People Management
• Ensure problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently
• Provide clear leadership to your project teams delegate responsibilities in line with the ability of the staff. At all times provide a highly motivational and inspirational environment
• Agree and monitor challenging but achievable targets for both project teams and individuals. Ensure clear communications between all team members and the client team
• Encourage open discussion
• Encourage the use of a working style that is in line with the company culture
Client / Customer Focus
• Always look to improve the service, systems and client interaction
• Never consider giving the client second best
• Excellent client facing skills working in a live environment
Self Management
• Represent our culture and live the core values in all your dealings
• Plan your priorities and spend time on the important issues
• Create fun where you can.
Site Emergencies
• Should we have a site emergency i.e.health and safety, environmental, flood, fire, incident with public on site contact the Operations Director without delay on his mobile number to avoid him finding out about a problem indirectly
