GIS (Geospatial Data Mapping) Manager, Portuguese speaking - Angola

We are seeking an experienced GIS (Geospatial Data Mapping) Manager for an International consultancy to be based in Angola

My client is a major international consultancy who have project around the world and have successfully delivered many major infrastructure schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in the success of new and current projects both regionally and further a field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful individual shall be responsible for managing a local team consisting of 20 engineers as well as expats based in variety of areas. Other duties shall include, Budget management, Intensive work with external factors, such as suppliers & working with government representatives and performing presentations to key figures. Someone who is able to carry out Business Development function would be beneficial

Key requirements for the role:

• Proven experience in direct managing a team over 20 employees.

• Fluent in Portuguese and English - mandatory.
• Experience in BD - an advantage.
• Previous experience working in Africa - advantage.

Language:

Fluency in English & Portuguese writing and communication

Salary:

The salary package on offer is around $10,000 per month.
