The objective of this role is to lead a team of engineers in delivering a hard service to a portfolio of buildings in line with company standards, legislation, relevant licence requirements and required performance accreditation. While also following company policies and procedures achieving a good level of service and our SLA, KPI performance requirement.
Responsibilities
To lead and line manage your team in line with company policies and procedures
To lead and proactively manage your team, to ensure full statutory and operational compliance is achieved in line with contract KPI's.
Take full ownership of delivered to your portfolio of buildings ensuring you are continuously driving for a high quality comprises of electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines for your portfolio of buildings with no loss of service.
Sub-contractor planning and management as required ensuring KPI, compliance and QHSE performance are consistently achieved.
Manage all sub- contractors & maintenance activities in your portfolio in line with company QHSE policies and procedures with no loss to client's services.
Support the Client Awareness Audits (CAV) ensuring the compliance folders for your portfolio are up to date and populated as per the annual planner.
Lead your team to drive best practice and high levels of service while understanding what motivates your team and what they need to succeed
To challenge to "Status Quo" and develop new innovative working procedures and help implement them
Plan and manage weekly workload for you team ensure all works are completed within SLA and that KPI performance targets and achieved.
Ensue good working knowledge of M&E plant within your buildings and understand the impact to customers operation including any safety critical scientific environment.
Ensure management of your team's core competences and training plans are reviewed and kept up to date with current procedures.
Attend client/supplier meetings
Actively participate in company performance management system and support the process for the Facilities team.
Actively participate and contribute to all team and management meetings.
Input of data into Maximo, spreadsheets and documents relevant to the contract and your role
Ability to extract information from a document and turn it into a report.
Organise diary with key dates and activities
To act as the responsible person for systems and process as agreed with your line manager and your experience skills and competency to ensure the QSHE process and our commercial obligations.
Qualifications / Skills / Attributes
Diploma certificate or equivalent technical qualifications
Previous supervisory/leadership experience
Knowledge of BMS, PCS systems and their implementation as well as testing of their equipment.
Thorough understanding of M&E and HVAC systems
Good leadership skills
Experience of Maximo preferred
Able to work well as part of a highly motivated team.
Strong and effective communication skills.
Have an ability to work out of hours and weekends as required in times of emergency
