Sales Account Manager - Geophysical Service Company / USA

The Role

The Sales Account Manager is a sales position with responsibility for driving growth in the North American region at an important & exciting time for my client. The primary focus is to build sales opportunities with new Oil & Gas E&P customers in the region to increase market share.

The successful candidate requires an extensive network throughout the North American Oil & Gas market and must be able to communicate the differentiated value proposition to technical experts and decision makers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educated to degree level in a Geosciences or related Earth Sciences discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in selling geoscience software applications to E&P companies of all sizes.
• Recent experience of working in the NAM region, with a strong industry network.
• Excellent customer engagement skills, particularly an ability to establish new customer relationships, with executive levels as well as technical experts.
• Demonstrable success in generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
• Experience in developing a strategic sales process to deliver significant growth in targeted accounts.
• Highly motivated and innovative individual.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
