Project Assistant / Australia

Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator based in Perth, are currently recruiting for an experienced project assistant who is skilled in supporting upstream offshore projects. This is for an initial 12 month contract with possible extension.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Event Coordination and Management (Focal Point for Team)
• Meeting Preparation and Management (includes catering, booking of rooms, room set-up
• Project Manager diary management
• Visitor Arrangements (provide advance notice of guests to reception)
• On-boarding & off-boarding of new & departing team members
• Travel Arrangements – Provide guidance (Focal Point for Team)
• Concur – manage expenses for PM and those using PM account
• Concur – Provide guidance (Focal Point for Team)
• Timewriting Support (Focal Point for Team)
• Support for processing of purchase orders and invoices
• On as needs basis to cover Technical Assistant responsibilities to assist the project workflows
  

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in the Upstream business is preferred
• Methodical with high level of accuracy working with technical details
• Collaborative team player but also able to work on own initiative
• Good communicator with a positive attitude
• Ability to work remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in working with the multiple and complex stakeholder engagements
• Experience using SharePoint & MS tools
• SAP knowledge beneficial
