Lab Technician - Concrete / England

An excellent and rare opportunity for an experienced lab technician with experience in the concrete industry to join one of the most recognisable and well-reputed companies in the building products industry.

This field based role will be mainly focused around the South West with some travel throughout the UK also required. Your role will be to test and design concrete mixes  both on site and in a lab setting.

Duties

• To conduct trials / testing and inspections both on site and in a laboratory setting in a customer support capacity as well as carrying out trials for both new and existing products.
• Providing technical demonstrations on the use of products
• Assisting customers on site to provide solutions for any issues with mix properties / performance.
• keeping up-to-date with new technology in the concrete and construction industry.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role and concrete industry knowledge is essential
• Preferably holds a qualification in Concrete Application. Not essential providing experience compensates for this.
• Able to demonstrate Technical Acumen
• Good communication and presentation skills and comfortable training into small groups
• Problem solving skills
