Description
The Business Change Analysts will be required to play a key role in managing relationships between the business and the project team. The consultants will:
- Work with project managers to ensure the key deliverables of projects are met
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure that they are kept up to date and that they are bought into the change process
- Identify change management approach that will increase user acceptance and adoption of systems and process change
- Develop a change management and communication plan to be delivered for the project
- Delivery of communication messages through various methods such as regional meetings, corporate meetings, intranet and email messaging
- Communicate regularly to project team and senior stakeholders - through project meetings, steering and weekly reporting
- Identify, define and track the training needs required on the project
- Taking the lead on transition management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business
- Preparing affected business areas for transition to new ways of working
- Optimising the timing of the release of project deliverables into business operations
- Helping to translate the new system functionality and business processes into a language that an end-user will understand to bring about change
- Participate in testing, training, or other activities, as required
- Provide support to business leads end users once the system has been implemented
- The consulting services will be carried out on-site at the Hydro Place office, St. John’s, Newfoundland. Some travel may be required to area offices throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
The Consultants should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant degree (bachelor, masters) or relevant combination of education and experience
- Experience in change management processes
- Experience in delivering workshops and focus groups
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage relationships with various audiences
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and on own initiative
- Manage participant's expectations, queries and challenges.
- Demonstrable experience of coaching/ providing advice
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel skills
