23 month contract, Norwich

This is a great opportunity for a good communicator and team player to support the Project Team. The successful individual will need to be enthusiastic, hands on and pro-active and will maintain attention to detail in their work. The role offers autonomy and you will be expected to be able to prioritise and have accountability for your workload.

You should have a broad breadth of planning knowledge that can be applied to the company's requirements to ensure that they make best use of their resources and Operational delivery.

This a 23 month contract position, based in the company's Norwich office working Monday to Friday, and shall report directly to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
? Create detailed plans from engineering inputs within the team and from external sources.
? Critical Path Analysis of Project Plans
? Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, base line, status, and perform measurement baseline.
? Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports: Gantt, milestone charts, and other tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work, priority based resource allocations, performance variances, and to support cost/schedule integration.
? Gather and analyse information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.
? Support the project management team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects, including dashboard maintenance.
? Work in collaboration with project management team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
? Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems.
? Maintain accurate records/paperwork.
? Monitor group work load through Resource Allocation Plans and produce relevant histograms in order to determine workloads and priorities of group resources.
? Coordinate with other teams within the organisation to ensure delivery of project activities are to time and budget.
? Liaise with logistics planners to ensure helicopter and boat resources are available and efficiency maximised.
? Chair planning reviews when required.
? Identify resource requirements for project activities and add to the plan in accordance with the project management system procedures
? Manage the updating process to ensure that plans are current and reflect project progress
? Attend project team meetings and take minutes as requested by the Project Manager
? Produce reports for the project teams, Project Manager and Project Board meetings

Qualifications / Experience
? Experience of working in an energy related industry and within an engineering team would be beneficial
? Use of planning and IT tools i.e. Microsoft Project, spreadsheets, Word etc.
? Excellent communication skills at all levels
? Ability to build effective working relationships
