An oil and gas major currently require an Expediting Lead for a major capital project to be based in Farnborough, UK for a 12 month contract.
The Expediting Lead will confirm suppliers delivery requirements match the Projects expectations; Confirm suppliers have a capable plan for meeting the Projects delivery requirement; develop alternatives for the Supplier to improve performance; Ensure MatMan and ACR's are constantly updated; Identify fabrication line stopping situations; Attend Kick off Meetings; Provide weekly activity reports; Develop shop expediting plans and ensure agencies providing services comply with the Project requirements; Visit Suppliers works as necessary to negotiate schedule progression; Attend handover meetings; Issue slippage notifications; Expedite in accordance with project priorities; and other ad hoc duties.
You will have 10 years experience working in a similar role within the oil and gas industry. You will also be familiar with systems MatMan and ACR.
