Senior Cost Controller / Australia

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and degree qualified Cost Controller to secure their next long term contract role in Oil and Gas. You will be joining a highly respected and well credentialed international operator and based in their head office in Melbourne's CBD. 

The role will see you working as part of their maintenance team and oversee a range of major contracts on their refinery. The primary responsibility of this role will be to assess and verify the unit rate work activities of the general maintenance contractor and provide guidance and advice on unit rate work and associated interface activities between your employer and this contractor. Other duties will include reviewing contract variation instructions for compliance with contract terms, support benchmarking activities to steward contractor performance and facilitate agreement on issues between field and contractor. You will also provide input on any contractor performance issues. 

We are seeking a degree qualified individual(ideally in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline) as well as a strong communicator and with a proven background working in an oil and gas maintenance environment.
