E,C&I Design Engineer – Permanent – Humberside – Competitive Salary

This job will require you to provide support from concept through to design, installation, commissioning and final handover to the client of a particular project.
 
Responsibilities

• Set up and review E,C&I detailed design documents for oil and gas projects
• Prepare control panel designs, including general arrangements and wiring diagrams
• Develop E,C&I schedules
• Deliver design calculations including heat loss, power, cable size
• Performing site surveys
• Deliver project requirements from concept through to commissioning
• Develop scope of work and other associated design documentation
• Work to national and international standards and regulations

 
Essential Requirements

• Experience working on control systems, instrumentation and functional safety
• Knowledge of ATEX directives
• LV competency
• Industry experience within oil and gas, chemicals or power
• Experience of flow-metering
• Familiarity of hazardous environments/COMAH
• Understanding of earthing and lighting protection
• Experience working with Autodesk/AutoCad
