Construction Engineer
Project build of a new Integrated Production, Drilling, Utilities and Quarters Offshore platform to be installed in the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan. The Brownfield scope covers Topsides modifications to existing Caspian Sea platforms to integrate the new facilities. The role will be based in Baku, Azerbaijan and will report to the Brownfield Construction Lead. The Brownfield Construction Engineer will be responsible for the overall delivery of construction across the modifications, with specific emphasis as follows;
Demonstrate excellent personal HSSE leadership and HSE behaviours. Lead, by example, with regards to company's HSE policy.
Fulfil the role of focal-point for Brownfield construction delivery, providing ongoing construction input to Engineering disciplines, during Brownfield design.
Actively participate in construction-related decisions; collaborate with the Brownfield Construction team to provide a discipline perspective to schedules, design deliverables, materials purchases, degree of shop fabrication, material delivery configuration, offshore logistics and sequence, as well as development of any required subcontracts.
Ensures Brownfield Contractor site work processes and procedures are fully implemented to underpin effective offshore construction ramp-up and execution. Interface with Design and Fabrication Contractors, to ensure constructability input is being actively considered and implemented. Develop and maintain all required project documentation for Brownfield Build-It-Tight and Build-It-Clean programs, including all associated construction preservation procedures. Provide all necessary technical input to Brownfield Construction Execution Plan, Mechanical Completion Plan, Construction Work Package Plan (CWPP) and Construction Surveillance Plan. During the Offshore Execute phase, provide oversight of all Brownfield piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, instruments and telecommunications construction activities, from start, through to final acceptance including Mechanical Completion Handover processes.
Anticipate and identify adverse trends/events throughout the construction cycle and work with the relevant parties to avoid them or achieve timely resolution.
