Introduction

We are pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Safety Coach for offshore D&W operations

Work Location: Stavanger with expected travels to Azerbaijan on 3/3 or 4/4 rotation (estimate 134 days).

Optional offshore Nicaragua. Estimate 90 days

Start date: 16.09.2019 - 28.02.2020

Option period: 2 x 6 months

Description

There is a need to hire consultants as substitute for HSE Engineers in international exploration drilling projects. The position follows up HSE in close cooperation together with the project leaders. The consultant will participate in planning and execution of interantional drilling operations. The workplace is in Stavanger/Norway, but there is expectations to be flexible between different projects and travel international and offshore upon request. It is expected that the candidate is able to handle tasks like: Give support and supervise line management offshore in HSE related issues. Promote HSE work and safety culture for various drilling projects in Equinor and rig owners/contractors and service companies in an multicultural working environment. Participate in and coordinate risk analyses and HSE surveys. Hands on HSE approach. Follow up regulatory requirements, contracts, knowledge transfer and inspection activities. Coach personnel on rig in HSE related issues (in cooperation with Equinor’s staff) as Red Zone on drill floor, Waste handling, Chemical handling, Falling Objects and preventional inspections, Crane and lifting etc.

Requirements

Minimum 5-10 years experience within HSE management regarding drilling and well offshore.

Knowledge of Equinor’s Best Practice Safety.

Experience with HSE management on rig in international operations (state rig company/country).

Experience with project based way of working (self going). Knowledge about authority requirements international (state country or continent).

Proactive approach.

Multicultural skills, coach people from other cultures. Cheerful personality and good communication skills. Competence on safe rig initiatives international.
