Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a history of successfully delivering prompt financial completion of projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to become the on site Commercial lead for a £100m scheme? Then a role within this Prestige Brand Tier 1 Contractor could be for you.

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable track record in managing regional contracts. A detailed knowledge of the NEC Suite of contracts is essential along with a thorough grounding in Civils / Highways projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full range of commercial functions from pre- construction through to Final Account fulfilling the contractual, legislative and statutory requirements of the contract.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing, submitting and agreeing a budget and to monitoring actual performance against the agreed budget.
• A good understanding and ability to apply the appropriate financial processes.
• An understanding and knowledge of materials procurement processes.
• Compiling unit rates and tenders.

Ideal Qualifications include:

• Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience
• Thorough working knowledge of NEC Option C.
