Junior Project Engineer / Site Engineer / Australia

An established civil contractor with a diverse portfolio engaging in projects in the greater Melbourne region is currently seeking a Junior Civil Project / Site Engineer to join their team engaged initially on a DIDO basis to one of their flagship projects in Mt Bulla. My client has a reputation for delivering projects on schedule and within budget, so the time has come for the growing business to bring in new talent to grow with the company.

Reporting to the Project Manager, key responsibilities for the role include assisting the Site Supervisor in the organisation of labour and equipment, assisting the Project Manager with ensuring schedules and budgets are adhered to, liaising with relevant bodies, providing advice and direction as required as well as delivering projects from proposal to design completion and construction.

To be successful, you must possess a minimum of 18 months local experience in Civil Construction backed by a Civil Engineering degree. Experience in Earthworks as well as Contract Administration is a must.
