Piping Engineer 6 / USA

Qualifications:
Responsible for technical direction of piping engineering discipline for a program or project(s). Assigns and schedules work and is responsible for the progress and quality of deliverables of a team. This position does not have administrative duties in regards in salary, however, staff management and staffing mobilization/demobilization are required duties, including performance evaluations, training, interviewing and determining staff assignments at the program or project level.-------------------Candidate would ideally have Pipe Stress and Materials--------------------- Candidate must have Caesar II experience--------------------P.E. Registration is highly preferred --------------------


Responsibilities:  
4.1 Perform initial project planning in regards to project scope, design basis, effort hour budget, staffing requirements, deliverables and execution procedure. 4.2 Implement local office and department work instructions. Also, will be responsible to ensure that local client procedures are considered when planning activities. 4.3 Develop and/or participate in Client Meetings and Project Design Reviews 4.4 Keeping an accurate piping engineering staffing plan with a 4-week forecast for the assigned program or project. 4.5 Monitor the progress for all piping engineering activities in regards to budget, schedule, and staffing and report results to Project Management and Department Management. 4.6 Ensure the deliverable verification process, and that all deliverables are issued according to schedule. 4.7 Participate in weekly project discipline team meetings. 4.8 Ensure all program piping engineering team members are working according to Jacobs safety guidelines, and that all have successfully completed project specific safety training. 4.9 Responsible for Program and Project Audits 4.10 Identifying staff positions applicable to the employee’s career objectives when possible 4.11 Ensuring that Change Management processes are followed 4.12 Provide technical direction to all assigned piping engineering staff and know when subject matter experts must be involved into the process 4.13 Ensure that all deliverables from Piping engineering followed the quality processes 4.14 Have an advanced knowledge of Caesar II 4.15 Possess strong working knowledge of SmartPlant Review, NavisWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite 4.16 Check the work of other Piping Engineers 4.17 Preferred candidate will have Pipe Stress and Pipe Materials experience; Minimum requirements are for a predominantly Pipe Stress Engineer with some knowledge of Pipe Materials
