Commissioning Engineer (Switzerland)

My client is seeking a commissioning engineer for they're pump storage project in Switzerland. This a great opportunity to work with one of hydropowers leading manufacturer's and to be potentially involved in projects world wide.

Technical skill needed :

1- Experience on equipment commissioning (Instrumentation, motors, pumps, electrical and mechanical valve, automatic filters, pneumatic valve, balancing tank, compressors, Modbus communication between equipment, signal test, electrical panel, soft starter, frequency converters, Filling and air venting process,etc….)

2- Able to read the electrical and mechanical drawing

3- Able to support Other scope on interface signals checks.

4- Familiar with method statement and risk analysis, workpermit, etc…

5- Experience in hydro is preferable, otherwise experience in similar scope activities is required.

6- Follow up open points, closure of open points

7- Filling commissioning procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering University degree (comparable with bachelor / master) or equivalent
• Fluent in English, second language recommended (French, German)
• Experience in full commissioning (dry and wet test ) of hydro turbine (Kaplan/Pelton/Pump-turbine/francis) and auxiliaries associated of the turbine (Turbine speed governor system ,cooling system ,oil station, main inlet valve ..)
• Experience in commissioning of main inlet valve ( Spherical valve/Butterfly valve…) and hydromechanics system Project: Pump StorageSalary: 300 - 400 euros per day
