Title: Wind Turbine Service Technician (On-Shore Maintenance)

Summary

The Service Technician role is to maintain and troubleshoot complex hydraulic and electrical controls circuits to maintain a wind turbine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Document all work performed

Follow all assigned Environmental, Health and Safety procedures

Supervise other members of the team

Repair defects

Report policy

Troubleshoot mechanical &Electrical Faults problems

Submit progress reports

Liaise with internal and external customers

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must have at least 3 years of WTG Servicing experience

Must have at least 1 years of Experience in major component exchanges (Including Generators, Gearbox's, Converters and blades)

Be able to operate tools, equipment and instruments

Knowledge of Torqing, aligning generators, pulling pucks using torque, slam, and large wrenches

Knowledge of Mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting

Experience of cleaning and lubricating on maintenance

All candidates most have full safety training certificates:

Working at heights

1st Aid including CPR

Fire awareness

Manual Handling

Medical Certificate for working at heights
