Role:Engineering Support Assistant - SAP
Location: Luton

Rate: £20p/h

Duration:9 months

I am currently working on behalf of a major construction company based in the Luton area. This company are looking for an Engineering Support Assistant with SAP experience to support the Engineering team. The key task is to support the administrative activities of the group as well as assist with any IT queries from internal staff.

About you:

• Good attention to detail 
• Creation of Part Numbers, Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP 
• Carries out changes to BOMs, specification sheets etc. supported by an R&D engineer where appropriate 
• Process new variant coding requests 
• Maintenance of Configurator tables & characteristics 
• Raise purchase order requests and capital requisitions 
• Update and maintain various trackers and databases 
• Chase purchase orders and capital requisitions through the system where required 
• Maintain good housekeeping and documentation storage locations 


Qualification & Experience 

• Organised, thorough with good communication skills 
• Able to work with and in multi-regional teams 
• SAP competent 
• Good level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) 
• Self-starter, quick learner & flexible 

Working hours 
Mon - Thurs - 0800 - 1630 
Friday - 0800 – 1300
