Essential:- Experience of working at L2, or L3 a good working knowledge of Microsoft and Virtualization. Solid Infrastructure experience, it will be a bonus if you have any financial experience.

My client works with their customer to design, develop, deploy & support solutions enabling technology transformation & ongoing success across the communications compliance technology landscape. Mainly within the Financial & Trading Markets.
Description:
2nd & 3rd Line Server Support Engineers to be ambitious with a proven track record of delivering solutions & services across a broad industry spectrum of compliance technology manufacturer product sets.
2nd & 3rd Line Server Support Engineers will build & run lab environments for internal training & solution testing, mentor & assist in team development activities & the training of L1 Engineers in a rapid knowledge growth environment while meeting project deliverables & milestones catering to exacting customer requirements to successfully deliver project outcomes.
2nd & 3rd Line Server Support Engineers Desired Skills & Experience:
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 to 2016
knowledge of IP & Trading Telephony environments
Process oriented thinking with proven ability to design & deploy solutions & services
Technically adept in IP networks (VoIP, Routing & Firewall), Storage (TSM, ESM, NAS, SAN & WORM technology), Security (Domain Setting, SSL, Encryption/Decryption) & VirtualizationCloud (VMware, AWS).
Strong root cause analysis capabilities & problem-solving skills
Ability to independently evaluate & prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex solutions to both technical & non-technical audiences with the correct level of detail
Quick to grasp technical details at a system & component level
Always delivers on commitments, on time & to a consistently high quality
Work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends & holidays may be required
5 + years relevant experience in enterprise IT system engineering or comparable experience within Windows Server environments / Networks / DBA
Excellent English written & spoken (other languages – advantage)
Open to domestic & international travel
Education & Certification Requirements:
IT Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, VMWare, Security, Virtualisation, Cloud, DBA) - advantage
Certified Engineer / Technician through secondary education or workplace experience - advantage
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar - advantage
Certification in NTR, NICE Perform, NIM or Engage Voice Recording platforms - advantage
Certification Verint, Verba & other Voice Recording platforms - advantage
Certification on other compliance technologies - advantage
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
