Description

  • Organization and control over all works within the area of responsibility ( Fiberline)
  • Project team management, target setting and performance control; 

  • Leading in technical concept work-out of the upgrade, pre-engineering work-out and preparing of the separate projects for the detailed engineering stages and implementation;

  • Preparing the technical sections of the tenders and contracts for engineering, procurement and construction activities according to the best management practice and standards;

  • Working-out and tracking time-schedule; 

  • Working-out and tracking the detailed implementation time-schedules and progress trend curves split by sites and detailed time-schedules; 

  • Interconnection between the implementation of the projects and current activities of the mill;

  • Work-out, conducting and control after the implementation of procurement plans according to the projects’ time-schedules;

  • Forming and monitoring of the detailed project’s budgets and cost control;

  • Analyzing the project’s risks and planning risk mitigation – ensuring the maintenance of the project’s risk register;

  • Reporting regularly, preparing materials for and conducting project Steering Committee meetings, preparing materials, reports and presentations per management requests and according to the corporate requirements and any special reporting requirements stipulated by the Steering Committee;

  • Organizing and participating in the negotiations with all engineering and design companies, consulting companies, equipment suppliers and contractor companies regarding the issues of projects implementation;

  • Organization of works on site: control of works execution dates, quality and value;

  • Approval of design documentation in the authorities;

  • Safe works execution, observation of occupational health, safety industrial and fire safety requirements, observation of sanitary norms in the authorized projects

Requirements


  • Higher engineering / technology education

  • Minimum 10 years experience in CAPEX projects in pulp and paper industry

  • International experience

  • Safety culture awareness

  • Good command of  English and preferably Finnish

  • You should be a positive and inspirational leader, able to build effective relationships on different levels of organization

  • You must have excellent communication and presentation skills

  • You should be self- motivated and hands-on managers focused on end-result and knowing how to get the job done
