Offshore Engineer / Netherlands

Description

• Analyse and prepare project specifications for offshore lifting operations, transportation
• Prepare structural design calculations and reports for all lift design work within scope, budget and schedule
• Prepare method and execution statements for commercial bids for new projects
• Prepare mobilization manuals and equipment checklists
• Prepare procedures and manuals for load-in, transfer, mooring, tow, lift and transportation operations
• Design sea fastening and lifting gear for barge transfer operations
• Perform offshore inspections to confirm feasibility of proposed solutions
• Prepare factory acceptance and commissioning tests for project equipment
• Collaborate with various disciplines internal as well as external

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical, Civil or Maritime Engineering
• 3-6 years’ relevant work experience
• Team player who is motivated to take on a technical challenge
• Able to work well in a high pressure environment
• Self-starter with creative and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel and work offshore
