Senior Production (Stimulation) Engineer / Netherlands

Description

• Initiate, plan and coordinate measures to maximise hydrocarbon production.
• Ensure adequate monitoring of production data and its storage in the company database, identify deficiencies to measurements and recommend improvements.
• Perform production technology studies (artificial lift optimisation, vertical flow analysis, nodal analysis).
• Contribute to the execution of the gas sales, transportation and processing contracts (including volume and capacity planning, hydrocarbon allocation, Force Majeure claims, gas composition analysis).
• Provide production engineering support (including production chemistry) to other departments.
• Optimise performance of the production system from well perforations to sales point in close cooperation with reservoir engineers, CCR and production supervisors.
• Coach / mentor technical development junior team members. Steer and review ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical or Engineering Discipline
• High level of experience in supervising offshore stimulation treatments on both the stimulation vessel and at the rigsite, with an awareness of offshore operations including, drilling, completion and well interventions
• 10+ years’ experience in the oil industry, a significant portion of which is related to stimulation activities, including long horizontal wells and should also include production optimisation, completions and well interventions. 
• Strong computer skills including a strong knowledge of current design programmes, real-time monitoring and optimization, and a basic knowledge of reservoir and inflow performance modeling
• You speak and write English fluently and preferably Dutch.
