Senior Rail Planning Engineer

My client is a leading international contractor specialising in the construction of major, complex projects throughout the world. This tier one contractor is focused on rail, tunnels and Mining, a leading provider of diversified services to the resources and public infrastructure sectors throughout Australia.

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Rail Planning Engineer, who as part of the Project Controls Team will assist in the overall planning and scheduling of this railway project.

This position reports to the Project Controls Manager

Your role will include, but not be limited to the following:
-Provide project planning/scheduling and reporting services to the Team and external stakeholders.
-Assist in the development and maintenance of the fully integrated and resourced Project Baseline Program
-Develop detailed programs for all phases of the project.
-Provide support to validate project progress
-identify schedule risks and analysis.
-Develop and provide accurate progress reports.

My client is seeking a candidate with the following profile:
-Bachelors Degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline.
-Proficient in the use of Primavera P6
-8+ years experience within Major Infrastructure works in a similar role.
-Sound interpersonal skills
-Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
