Tunnel Engineer (Drill and Blast)

A major Construction company is seeking a SWEDISH SPEAKING tunnel engineer to manage a very large Tunnel project in Sweden. This is a prestigious project and requires a Swedish speaking candidate who has local experience in construction for tunnelling and underground projects in the region.

This is a key position reporting to the Production Manager. It will be focused on the delivery of a major contract and will be a key role. As such experience on projects of this nature will be required with a track record on multiple projects over £100m within tunnelling and civils.

An ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

-FLUENT IN SWEDISH or NORWEGIAN

-Degree or equivalent in mining or civil engineering.

-Previous experience in roles such as; Tunnel engineer, tunnel worker, tunnel foreman, site worker, site manager

-Experience with Tunnel, concrete and major underground civil projects will be beneficial.

-Experience with Blasting, Drilling, Shotcrete

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Sweden for 2 years minimum term on a full time basis. There will be flights provided if needed and packages are negotiable however will be very strong and worthy of senior level engineers.
