Skill: Head Electrical Engineer

Duration: 1st September 2019 to 31st August 2022

5/6 days per week, 8/10 hours per day.

Travel Days unpaid

Leave Schedule30 Calendar Days every 1 year OR 12 weeks / 2 weeks

Visa Status – Provided by our company

Job Description:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical skills.
• Technical understanding of state-of-the-art Electrical system technology.
• Minimum of twenty (15) years technical experience in discipline with at least ten (10) years demonstrated technical leadership experience in major capital projects.
• Experience with worldwide suppliers of Electrical Systems, Power generation and Distribution systems.
• Experience with contractors, vendors, and implementation sub contractors for Electrical Systems
• Experience in working in Multi Cultural Environment.
• Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
  • Electrical engineering principles, theories, and concepts
  • Applicable codes, standards, and trade practices
• Thorough knowledge and expert judgment in the selection and application of Electrical hardware.

Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.

 

The Electrical Engineer Head is responsible for overseeing the EPC Contractor’s activities for the design, integration and testing of the NFE Onshore Project Electrical engineering deliverables in accordance with the Project Specifications and EPC Contract requirements. The position is responsible for the following activities: 

1. Stewards all phases of Electrical engineering and ensures that the Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost objectives of the project are met within his/her area of responsibility
2. Coordinates electrical input to multi-discipline activities to ensure equipment packages with electrical scope designed are designed well and in time.
3. Delivers quality electrical engineering work products in a timely manner to support construction activities and eventually pre-commissioning/commissioning of electrical scopes.
4. Supports Operations during the Start-up of Electrical Systems.;
5.  Provides leadership, mentoring, coaching and career development opportunities to direct reports.
