Are you looking for a new challenge as a Maintenance head?

My client a service company working with large energy and power plant operations and maintenance (O&M) clients and is currently I am looking for Maintenance head to assist on a Combined Cycle Power Plant based in the Middle East.

The suitable candidate would be reporting to the Plant Superintendent and would be to propose, to settle and supervise the "BdM" (Bureau de Methodes) organisation:

• Corrective maintenance of equipment.
• Preventive maintenance of equipment, as well as maintenance imposed by the rules as stipulated by CMMS.
• Preparation and organisation of inspections.
• Planning of maintenance works.
• Management of the spare parts.
• Experience feedback on equipment issues:

- Supervising the monthly and yearly activities reports.

- To control the compliance with the safety rules on maintenance activities.

- To supervise the training of the employees of the department, according to the site- training program, etc.

- To participate in the makeup of the projected budget for the activities they are responsible such as Employee cost, materials cost, etc

- To develop the organisation of his department in order to optimise its running.

The suitable candidate would have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Master of Engineering Degree; in the area of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. As well as have working knowledge of:

• Manage all Mechanical, Electrical, Auxiliary and I&C Maintenance activities.
• Responsible for all plant maintenance operations.
• Supervision the maintenance staff.
• Maintenance Service Contracts and Warranty.
• Schedule preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Provide leadership and guidance for the maintenance staff.
• Schedule and conduct quarterly maintenance review meetings.
• Manage maintenance-training programs for initial qualification, on the job training, continuing training, and proficiency training.
• Provide the stock optimisation of plant spare parts and consumption materials; evaluate their lifetimes and efficiency.
• Gas turbine combined cycle power plant of at least 10 years.
• Documenting their experience in the area of gas turbine combined cycle power plants maintenance for 3 years in GTCC power plants
• Power plant capacity shall not be less than 200MWe.
• Gas turbine experience is V94.2 / SGT5-2000E. The HRSG system will be at least double pressure type.
• Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Working under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Working independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

The salary is a negotiable based upon experience for a permanent assignment with the client based in the Middle East
