Are you a ready to take step forward as a Head of Operations? My client a service company working with large energy and power plant operations and maintenance (O&M) clients and is currently I am looking for Head of Operations to assist on a Combined Cycle Power Plant based in the Middle East.

The suitable candidate would working under the Plant Superintendent's authority and would responsible for the Management of resources: organisation of shifts in charge and shift turnover. Also to purpose, settle and supervise the organisation concerning:

• Interface with the maintenance department for activities on equipment: work request and blocking certificates.
• Writing of operation procedures (Line-up, start-up, shutdown, periodic tests,etc.)
• Daily surveillance of equipment (rounds).
• Surveillance of physico-chemical parameters.
• Monthly performance test.
• Interface with the dispatching.
• Follow- up of operation events and experience feedback.
• Operation statistic (consumption of fuel, produced energy, availability, equivalent running hours, etc).

The suitable candidate would have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Master of Engineering Degree; in the area of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. As well as have working knowledge of:

• gas turbine combined cycle power plant operation of at least 10 years
• Documenting their experience as gas turbine combined cycle power plants shift supervisor for 4 years as an operation head in GTCC power plant for a period of time not less than 3 years.
• GTCC power plant capacity shall not be less than 200MWe
• HRSG system in the reference plant of the candidate to be of at least double pressure type
• Supervising the production of activity reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, And Yearly, etc) allowing the delivery of fuel by the Client.
• Controlling the compliance with the safety rules on operation activities.
• Supervising the training of the department employees according to the training program of the site.
• Participation in the elaboration of the projected budget of the department activities of which he is responsible.
• Developing the organisation of his department in order to optimise its running.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

The salary is a negotiable based upon experience for a permanent assignment with the client based in the Middle East
