An established New Zealand multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy firm who has been around for the past 50 years providing solutions for all Civil, Structural, Environmental, and Geotechnical engineering solutions. Mainly working on high volume low rise residential projects with majority of them are repeated businesses.

This role fits any experienced Geotechnical Engineer who is looking for more authority and flexibilty, better remuneration package, and aiming for ownership programme.

Scope of work
- Generate geotechnical reports regarding site conditions, recommendation to the site and building design for construction purposes
- Review geotechnical designs and reports of younger engineers
- Ability to work on greenfield (new) and brownfield (established) lot
- Good knowledge of slope stability, soil strengths, retaining walls, and flooding
- Compliance and Resource Consents
Requirements
- A Chartered Geotechnical Engineer in New Zealand (CPEng holder) is a must
- Hands-on (see the above role and reponsibility)
- Prior experience in leading and managing a team of Geotechnical Engineers
- Business development/extablished network within the New Zealand market would be an advantage
