Team Leader / Transport Economist (Urban Transport) - Thailand

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader / Transport Economist for an upcoming Urban Transport project in Thailand.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International consultancy firm who have a strong global reputation and are carrying out projects around the world with a very strong presence in Europe, Asia & Africa.

The project is the feasibility study to improve the urban transportation network and is likely to involve Light Rail Transit (LRT) scheme.

Responsibilities on the role:

As team leader/ Transport economist you shall be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of local and international experts carrying out the required tasks:

1. Conduct technical, economic and financial, institutional, urban analysis towards the completion of the Feasibility Study for a sustainable mobility project that has to perform various functions and that must be integrated with and within the current urban facilities.
2. Liaise and co-ordinate with governmental and international stakeholders.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree Qualified ideally within Economics or Transport planning (M.Sc. or PhD beneficial)
• Strong International expertise, ideally with experience of local authorities in developing countries and donor funding institutes.
• Regional experience would be beneficial

Language:

English (Thai would be beneficial)

Salary Package:

The salary package is flexible depending on experience and capabilities.
