Site Mechanical Engineer – Chemicals - Widnes - £60k + Benefits
My client is looking for a degree qualified engineer to join a successful global business. The ideal candidate must have experience working on a Top Tier COMAH site and needs to be a practical leader. You will have demonstrable experience of implementing change on a similar chemical manufacturing plant.
The role will see you undertake project, maintenance and engineering tasks ensuring the sites safety, regulatory and productivity requirements. You will provide support and direction to the maintenance team as well as co-ordinating multi discipline teams for projects, plant modifications and improvements. You will also ensure that all spares and permits are in place for routine maintenance, reactive maintenance and delivery of projects. You will be able to identify opportunities to improve business performance through effective maintenance and continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements
- Degree qualified engineer in relevant industry
- Chartership (desired)
- 5-10 years’ experience in Maintenance/Reliability
- Management of maintenance and project activities
