Senior Engineer - Projects / UAE

Basic Function and Scope

Reporting to the Technical Projects Manager of an efficient and capable department, the independent, self-motivated and determined Senior Project Engineer will manage and deliver simultaneous multi-disciplined Operations Technical Projects to the required standard of safety, engineering, quality, schedule and cost as required by company from conception to hand-over at the Gas Plant.

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Provide professional expertise in the selection of contractors with particular emphasis on pre-qualification, bid evaluation etc., and site management in relation to site arrangements, overall logistics, etc.
• Develop detailed statement of requirements (SOR), Project Execution Plans, budgets and implementation strategies for the delivery of various project phases, such as, FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning.
• Participate in the development and compilation of tender document for the selection of the Engineering Consultant, PMC and Contractors.
• Review and comment on contractor documentation, consolidate comments from concerned parties and issue to contractor includes resolving conflicting comments to ensure that the contractors submit the required documentation in the specified format.

 Minimum requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• 8 years of similar experience with at least 6 years in a relevant senior supervisory role; managing engineering multi-disciplinary functions for the design of the assets/facilities, exposure to preparation of Front End Engineering and Design packages.
