Estimator / Kalkulator - German Speaking / Germany

A large German contractor and major player across European construction markets are seeking an experienced Estimator/Kalkulator who is fluently GERMAN speaking.

This is for a number of large ongoing projects and upcoming tenders within road, rail, bridge and tunnel projects internationally. As such it requires a specialist in civil and construction projects with a focus on infrastructure works across German speaking countries.

They are seeking a well rounded construction specialist who is able to support in estimation and coordination of the projects/tenders. They will work with the technical teams and management in order to ensure the submissions remain on time and that tasks are completed from both the head office and on site.

This is a key position working as part of a team and will be reporting to the Head of Estimation. As such experience on projects of this nature will be required with a track record on German speaking projects focusing on infrastructure like roads, rail, tunnels, bridges etc.

The Estimator/Kalkulator will be responsible for the following:
-Schedule management and working with cost, quantities, materials, staffing and timelines for large projects
-Estimation for both projects and tenders
-Communicating with the client and management representatives
-Liaising with construction and design teams
-Overseeing sub-contractors

An ideal candidate for this position will be FLUENT in German and have the following:

-Degree or equivalent in relevant field
-Previous experience in roles such as estimator, calculator, tender engineer
-Experience with roads, rail, tunnels, bridges

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Germany for 2 years minimum term on a full time basis. There will be a strong NET salary on offer and can be engaged on a permanent or freelancer basis.
