Mechanical Design Engineer – Stoke-on-Trent
Are you a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer? Do you have experience of pressure vessel design and pipe stress analysis?
Our client is looking for a degree qualified engineer to join a professional team of draughtsman, engineers and project managers designing pressure vessels, structural steelwork and piping systems for new skid mounted process systems that are destined for offshore oil and gas platforms and chemical process plants.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years’ experience of designing packaged equipment and skids. You will be educated to degree level and have experience working to the requirements of ASME VIII Div. 1 (Div. 2 desirable), PD5500, BS EN 13445 etc. You will have had experience working with Finglow, PV Elite, CaesarII or Staad.Pro.
The role offers a diverse working environment, with a leading global company. There is the opportunity to develop within this company gaining experience within mechanical design as well as getting involved with some project based work. There is development within the role to achieve a senior level role within 5 years.
