Position - Installation Supervisor (Onshore Wind Farm)

Role Summary

The primarily function of the Wind Installation Supervisor is to assist and advise the installation contractor to ensure mechanical and electrical installation as well as final Inspections are performed in accordance with the installation guidelines. The Wind Installation Supervisor is to represent the company in a responsible manner with integrity and by exercising good judgement, both during work hours & off work hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the installation works, on-site QA (walk down of installed and completed turbines, check of incoming goods
  2. Providing support for installation manager, ensure the QA standards are met, provide guidance to install contractors.
  3. Participates in LOTO process as required/directed
  4. Adheres to Quality processes
  5. Responsible for reporting issues which affect safety and schedule via the latest online communication tool for corrective action
  6. Ensures follow-up corrective actions are implemented on all issues in accordance with communicated directive.
  7. Ensure contents of Job Site Books are complete and 100% accurate
  8. Provide information for E-DSR where required as defined by communication Guideline
  9. Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicle in a responsible manner
  10. Execution of assigned Retrofits per the RFR process.
  11. Manage time and assigned resources responsibly to ensure successful completion of the site goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Fluent in English
  2. Technical high school diploma or equivalent
  3. At least 3 years experience with installation and mechanical completion of wind turbine generators
  4. Intermediate computer skills
  5. Flexibility in working hours
  6. Positive attitude and approach to day to day duties
  7. Demonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operations
  8. Driver's licence required
  9. A strong commitment to ensure safety and safe working environments
