Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review all installation related documents, including installation analysis and procedures, seafastening and rigging analysis, and mobilisation procedures; in a collaborative manner with installation contractor
• Participation at risk assessments, HIRA/HAZOPs, marine readiness reviews
• Coordination of marine activities with interfacing parties, including Host facility, drilling rig and other SIMOPs
• Offshore attendance, and where required acting as Company vessel representative for marine operations
• Act in the role as lead for spool and tie-in scope of work
• Strive for excellence within HSEQ in own work and in contractor’s ongoing activities
• Site visits for follow up of items in procurement/fabrication
• Liaise with marine warranty surveyor as required
• Assist SURF team in fabrication follow-up of procured items
• Be responsible for interfaces towards other areas/contractors and ensure they are addressed properly and managed in PIMS
• Ensure that governing documents, standards and codes are followed during all project activities and deliveries
• When required, trips to be made to offshore, Gjøa, and Florø
Internal and external interfaces:
• There is a requirement to work cross functionally and interface with all geographical areas within Neptune Energy
• Main SURF Contractor in Lysaker, and subcontractors as required
Requirements
Formal qualifications, skills and experience requirements:
• Typically a minimum of 8-12 years’ experience from installation of subsea projects, coordination, planning and execution of marine activities
• Preferably offshore field engineer or construction engineering experience
• Preferably experience as vessel representative on behalf an Operator
• Requires highly developed communication skills to present complicated issues in an understandable way, and to influence others to ensure compliance
• Strong communication skills in English – oral and written
• Valid offshore certificate and medical certificate for offshore construction vessels is required
