Oracle Application Support Analyst – Contract – North West
My client is looking to bring on board am Oracle Applications Support Analyst for a 3 to 6 months contract.
The Oracle Applications Support Analyst will have commercial experience of the following:-
Oracle 11i Apps
Modules (One or more) AR, AP, OM, WMS, GL, FA, INV, PUR, CRM
Oracle SQL
Dataloader
The Oracle Application Support Analyst will have experience in the support of Oracle Applications release 11i. Provide primary support to internal customers (2nd Line) - predominantly around our Oracle E-business suite solution - by resolving inquiries by phone, e-mail and web, in a manner and time frame consistent with department and team service levels and goals.
Document all case issues, progress and record resolution in our service desk system.
Create and update knowledge base documents, case studies, internal documentation.
Work collaboratively with internal customers, team members, consultants, and resources across the company to achieve desired results.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and interpret customer / business needs and determine appropriate action.
Motivate customers and manage expectations relative to new releases and resolution of issues.
Following system familiarisation, perform customer data fixes using SQL and PL/SQL statements.
Superior troubleshooting and analysis /resolution skills.
Strong customer focus and ability to manage and exceed customer expectations.
Excellent written and oral skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, complex issues.
Prior experience in a service role supporting Oracle E-Business suite.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products.
Experience in writing and interpreting Oracle SQL & PL/SQL scripts.
Desirable skills
Software Testing Experience.
Knowledge of Oracle APEX Forms.
