Fantastic opportunity to join one of the world’s leading Oil, Gas and Energy companies that have been operating in New Zealand for around 120 years. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician / Refueller to join their Wellington Airport based team. 

This multi-faceted role will see you tackle the daily duties required of a Maintenance Fitter with the added responsibility to become involved with Aircraft Refuelling.
 
Ideally suited to a qualified Fitter Turner looking for a new challenge, this role would see you spend the first part of your day Refuelling Aircraft with full training provided. After all the refuelling needs are carried out your focus will turn to Maintenance and Breakdown work on the refuelling equipment itself.

The Role:

• Carry out Maintenance on Client specific equipment at the Wellington Airport
• Early shift from 5.30am to 2.00pm
• Carry out Maintenance as per schedules
• Strong commitment to Health and Safety
• Ensure refuelling is completed in timely fashion
• Maintain all necessary records on refuelling / product quality activity

 
Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant Qualification
• 5-10 years of closely related field experience
• Existing level 4 truck license and Hazardous license preferred but not required
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to comply with all paperwork requirements
• Team player
• Adaptable to changing work loads and conditions
