Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the role holder will be responsible for marketing strategy development and execution. The role holder with lead the marketing efforts to develop direct LNG supply positions to global markets with a special focus on Asia. The role holder will also develop new sales opportunities in the region
1. LNG Marketing
• Pro-actively pursue to develop new opportunities and establish relations with potential customers across the region and Asia
• Develop the corporate strategy around LNG, based on market research, implement commercial strategies for to penetrate new markets.
• Prepare an annual LNG Sales Plan, defining yearly targets and objectives with details on volumes, trends, expected market potential, etc.
• Responsible for full deal value chain from origination, deal economics, structuring, contract negotiations up to obtaining management approval.
• Share insight and customer feedback with management regarding key market drivers, trends and competition, to understand current, emerging needs and priorities.
• Provide a mid/long term LNG outlook and support the Market Research team with market insight
• Provide direction, guidance to ensure alignment with the company's strategies.
2. Key Account Management
• Manage and consolidate strategic corporate accounts, ensure communication with the sales team to ensure effective coordination internally.
• Build customer relationships, ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure all proposals and communication are in accordance with the developed policy for these strategic corporate accounts.
• Serves as a lead facilitator both internally and externally regarding LNG sale accounts.
• Consult with the Vice President Marketing.
3. Sales
• Responsible for the sales and stakeholder management of all LNG contracts.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to respond to their needs and requirements.
• Prepare proposals, make presentations, sales contracts, follow-up, negotiate and finalise deals.
• Manage and grow end user customer portfolio in prime markets around Asia, with special focus on JKTC area.
• Identify and develop profitable business opportunities and establish long-term relationships.
• Coordinate marketing staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
• Keep management informed of customer visits, requirements (submit meeting minutes on a regular basis).
• Maintain, manage and communicate customer's proposal portfolio on a regular basis.
• When requested present and participate in LNG industry events such as conferences and seminars
