Team Leader (Architect) - Zambia

We are supporting a leading consultancy with a border crossing project in Zambia with its border with Malawi for which they are urgently requiring a Team Lead from an Architectural background.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

My client is a major International consultancy firm who have successfully delivered numerous projects around the region and further afield.

Responsibilities:

Overall management and coordination of the project team at all stages of the project including:

• Client coordination
• Directly responsible for the implementation of the architectural designs of the OSBP facility
• Plan and coordinate the delivery of all other deliverables as per the signed contract
• Liaise with the Project Director and the Supervisor to ensure that all approved staff are mobilised on time
• Report to the Project Director/Supervisor all issues that may impeded the timely completion of any deliverable
• Maintain day to day contact/communication with the Client and management through the
• Project Director

Key requirements for the role:

• At least Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Not less than 15 years' experience in building designs international Experience as team leader in design and supervision of public infrastructure including major buildings At least 5 years' experience in similar assignments.
• A Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Project Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
• Registration with an appropriate professional body
