Territory Manager & Project Engineer
We are the leading name in industrial pretreatment and surface protection of wood, and a trusted supplier for the world’s largest agricultural companies with a wide range of offerings such as custom manufacturing of active ingredients.
Arch Wood Protection are well regarded specialists in the research, development and manufacture of timber treatment solutions. They are continuing to develop and adapt to market conditions and requirements and their top of the line manufacturing gives them a strong edge over their competition.
Due to their continued growth and expansion as well as an internal promotion, we are currently seeking an energetic Territory Manager and Project Engineer to look after sales covering areas within the South Island as well as having additional engineering responsibilities for minor plant installs and plant upgrades. There will be a lengthy hand over in this position so you will have all the advantages to set yourself up in this dynamic role.
You will be given a strong and active client base already but you will have a passion for looking for additional ‘hunter sales’ opportunities so you must have a proven sales background with an engineering edge. As you will also be involved in supporting the business and colleagues with minor plant installs and plant upgrades you will also have an engineering background (trades/ tools or tertiary).
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be a part of this highly successful company in providing ‘solution based selling’ techniques to the wood industry. You will be dealing with a range of stakeholders both external and internal and you must have a proven technical sales background, strong communication skills, resilience and self-motivation.

- Having a proven track record in business to business sales
- Having the technical skills to pick up Arch Wood Protection’s product range to be able to provide best suited solutions for their clientele
- Holding a current passport or having the capabilities of gaining one
- A current full drivers licence
