Production Operator - Sterile Manufacturing / Australia

The company is a  pharmaceutical company founded in Australia over 50 years ago. It has grown rapidly through global expansion. In 2013 it launched its suite of premium brands globally, and is now focusing on Contract Manufacturing. 

Responsibilities

• Set up manufacturing equipment, process batches of sterile liquids, powders and pastes from compounding to its final packaged form
• Liaise with supervisors regarding work schedules whilst maintaining compliance with company policies, quality systems and safety standards whilst maintaining good housekeeping practices
• Operation of plant/lines; including but not limited to liquid/powder filling machines, labelling machines, tank/mixer operation, autoclaves, etc
• Minimising waste and reporting instances of potential process improvement
• Visual inspection of vials
• Assist with production line set up and breakdown repairs
• Assist in the development of GMP Documents (SOP/Work Instructions)

Skills & Experience

• This candidate must have a minimum 2 years’ experience as a production operator, preferably in highly regulated industries
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry preferred
• High level GMP knowledge (or equivalent experience in FMCG, cosmetic or relevant manufacturing environments) is essential
• Experience and training in the manufacture and packaging in sterile cleanroom environment is highly desirable
