PLANT IT ANALYST (SMP Contract)

1 year initial Contract, renewable as per Client

Work Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Education: Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering

Certification Required: ITIL Foundation Certified

Experience:

3-10 years of Experience working in the Operation and maintenance of Telecom systems in Oil and Gas industries

Duties: 

Provide high level technical and professional expertise to the IT department and other Client's functions for delivering the necessary technology services to the business. As needed, recommend, develop and improve Client's Plant IT infrastructure to reflect the current and long-range trends in technology.

The Plant IT systems are broadly classified as follows. The IT Service manager will manage one or more of the following services:

Safety Systems

• Plant Alarm & Siren System (PASS)
• Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA) System
• Fire & Gas System
• Process CCTV System
• Spill Beacon System
• Weather Monitoring and Gas Monitoring System
• IP Television System

Radio Systems

• TETRA services – Private Mobile Radio (PMR)
• BRAVO Services
• Radio Enhancement Services (e.g. GSM extenders)

Cabling Systems

• Fibre optic cabling (Indoor and Outdoor)
• Indoor Copper Structured Cabling System
• Outdoor Copper Cabling
